Yay, thanks!! I was THRILLED to hear the category theme, I got really lucky with that one because the episode I had picked just happened to have the alien of the week who was both a) one of my favorites and b) the most visually stunning alien EVER which means good icon material ;)

Your icons are always so unique, I love that. That's a great set again! 'Struggle' is great, that scene always makes me ache for John, poor guy. 'Circle' is beautiful, love the bright colours. Love the crop for 'amused, and LOL at 'body part'. Great idea. :D

You know what, these DO look cohesive to me! They look like they get ever brighter as I look down the page, and the white light effect ties they all together.

I'm sorry they gave you such a problem, but I truly love the final results :) 2 Colors is unexpected, but so pretty. I love how crisp his eye is. Sidekick is funny and *should* look cluttered, but doesn't. Snurching that one. I LOVE your concept for Zoom. Love, love, love. Upside Down does look odd, but it's so hard for Upside Down NOT to look odd, and I love what you did with the colors and sheen.

Great colors with Struggle & Circle, and I really like how they seem to tie together. Snurching Center Crop as well. The colors and texture are lovely.

Body Part is HYSTERICAL. The crop and coloring on Amused are perfect...and Weird takes a weird moment and makes it weirder (although I did have less than clean thoughts at first glance LOL).

I love that you showcased Natira with your category set, beautiful use of textures and lighting. The crop on 1 is fab.

And your ACs are also beautifully colored, and I love the bookends of the couples...I am taking #2 as well, I've needed a Zhaan icon for awhile and am never happy with anything I see, until now.

And it's especially awesome to hear they have at least some sort of cohesion to you. I've always tried to pick just one thing and make the whole Categopry or ACs with the same idea, but this time nothing seemed to work on more than one icon :P

I think I saw that comment too and at the time dismissed it (not that I don't have a dirty mind, but I wasn't seeing it). But with the whiteness of the coloring, her open mouth, and the faded background, I SEE IT ;)

Don't get too out of practice with the icons! I decided to skip the next phase of Farscape Land and stay away from scifichar20in20, but I'm still going to participate in this comm. I want to focus on writing this fall, but am unsure about NaNo. Last year was SUCH a disaster...on the other hand it might be a good way to write a rough draft of a series of stories I've been mulling.

But "Artist's Choice" #5 breaks my heart... It's incredible the density of feelings one perceives in such a tiny picture.

Pretty! Upside Down works really well I think, partly for the simplicity of it. I always have trouble with that prompt, but you've done it quite well.
